Come play Pinehurst No. 8...
Opened in 1996 to commemorate Pinehurst’s centennial, Tom Fazio designed No. 8, synthesizing all the elements of the Pinehurst golf experience into one layout.
Funds raised go to support The Carolinas Golf Foundation and The Given-Tufts Archives.
"There’s something about Pinehurst that tops even the position which it naturally occupies as the St. Andrews of American golf. And that is the people you find there, play golf with, and exchange reminiscences with…who always make you feel happily at home."
- BOBBY JONES

Waiver Statement
By submitting this application to the CGA, I release the Carolinas Golf Association, the Tufts Archives and Given Library, their committee members, officers, staff and host club from any and all liability for any event or consequence relating to entry or participation in this event.
The Tufts Archives
The Tufts Archives is managed by the Village of Pinehurst to preserve and display the unique history of Pinehurst, North Carolina, from it's founding in 1895 to the present. The archives, located in a wing of the Given Memorial Library on the Village Green in Pinehurst, was built in 1975. Its creation was spurred by Richard S. Tufts, grandson of the founder of the village, James Walker Tufts. Richard Tufts and other family members created the Tufts Foundation, which provided the funding for the archives, and a small endowment. The archives operates through the generous donations of our patrons, the sale of images and graphics, and specific fundraisers. It is open to the public, researchers, media, and scholars free of charge.
Carolinas Golf Foundation
The Carolinas Golf Foundation was formed by the Carolinas Golf Association in 1977 to provide support for a variety of Carolinas-based golf initiatives. Donations are used to support and promote junior golf (including seven First Tee programs), women's golf, turfgrass research and scholarships, disabled golfers and many other worthwhile Carolinas projects.
